The pendant's uniqueness lies in its multitude of tiny cutouts. Each of the 24 animal figures was meticulously contoured by hand. With a total of 16 diamonds set into it, the Circle of Life is one of the most elaborately crafted and highest-quality pieces from Money Art Berlin.

For many, Sri Lanka is a tropical paradise in the Indian Ocean, with golden sandy beaches and deep green tea plantations. However, the atmosphere here is also characterized in many places by a distinctly palpable spirituality; after all, around three-quarters of the population are Buddhist.

The Circle of Life coin was minted in 1957 to commemorate the 2,500th anniversary of Buddhist teachings and was only released in a limited edition. It is decorated with horses, lions, camels, birds, and elephants. The animals inside the pendant appear to move in a circle on various levels, symbolizing the core idea of ​​Buddhism: a life without beginning or end, the cycle of rebirth.
